Job Responsibilities: IT Systems Manager is responsible for the Design, Implementation, Operations, Security, Performance, User Satisfaction and Improved Cost of all Technology infrastructures which include Data Centre, Managed Network, Firewall, Telephony, Service Monitoring, User Support/Help Desk, Workstation Management, Servers, Storage and Related Software. He is responsible for providing the strategic direction for the Infrastructure function. Should work towards enhancement of IT system and making it more efficient with continuous improvements by being in sync with latest technologies. He/she will report to IT Head. o Managing IT Infrastructure Team for monitoring and maintaining Organization’s Assets like Networks, Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Firewall judiciously. o Designing and implementing Networks, laying the Infrastructure for LANs, WANs. Troubleshooting network outages and user troubles. o Implementing Security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats. Maintain Data Protection and Security across the Organization. o Establish and Maintain Disaster Recovery Architecture. Handling Databases, Documenting processes, Backing up and Archiving Data, Data Retrieval and Recovery Procedures. o Provide leadership in Planning and Managing computer operations and production support systems and Database Administration o People Management by working closely with IT Infrastructure team members for time allocation and prioritization. o Leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance in Multi-Site Enterprise ERP Environment o Lead IT Asset Management Team to ensure assets full lifetime cycle value is achieved. Designing and Implementing Efficient User feedback and Error Reporting Systems. o To work with Organization’s Internal departments and cross functional environment. To define Infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service Efficiency and Effectiveness. o Develop win-win vendor relation for betterment of Organization. Develop the reporting for vendor performance in areas that include Quality, Capacity, Systems and Responsiveness o Manage Strategic Relationships with Third Party Service Providers o Leadership in Planning, Project Management and Implementation. Identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement. Information Analysis for making appropriate IT budgets. o Ensure the Infrastructure Team is mitigating, monitoring and managing Infrastructure related Risks o Implement IT Continuous Improvement Programs
